Established in 1962, Cuc Phuong is the oldest national park in Vietnam. Location: The section of U Minh Forest in Kien Giang Province is U Minh Thuong (upper U Minh) and the other section in Ca Mau Province is U Minh Ha (lower U Minh).
Characteristics: U Minh Forest, a special swamp in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta, is habitat to hundreds of precious fauna and flora species.
Bach Ma (White Horse) Mount is 60 km south of Hue city. It is still a famous resort. It is about 1,450m above sea level in a transition zone of the northern and southern climate, so it bears a temperate climate, similar to Sapa, Tam Dao, Da Lat, etc. There, the green vegetation is abundant all the year round. Lang Bian Mountains is located in Lac Duong District, Lam Dong Province; 12km north of center Dalat. Lang Bian Mountains are an ideal place for mountain climbing, paragliding, trekking or studying flora and rare bird species.
Sapa itinerary varies in sites: ancient stone-fields, silvery waterfall, conquer of Fansipan peak, a visit to villages of Mong or Dao ethnic minorities...  but most remarkable is Ham Rong Mount.
Ba Den Mount is a well-known landscape of Tay Ninh, highest in South Eastern (986 m). The mountain is formed by granite and granodionite... ; therefore the mount is rather sharp and sloppy with three heights: Ba Den (986m), Phung Mount ( 372m) and Heo Mount (335m). There is possibility of setting a resort Centre on top of Ba Den Mountain.
There are dozens of pagodas and temples, many of them set in caves, around Sam Mountain (Nui Sam), which is about 6km southwest of Chau Doc out on Bao Ho Thoai street. The Chinese influence is obvious and Sam Mountain is a favourite spot for ethnic Chinese (both pilgrims from Vietnam and abroad).
Fansipan, a rough pronunciation of the local name Hua Xi Pan means the tottery giant rock. The French came to Vietnam and in 1905 planted a landmark telling Fansipan's height of 3,143m and branded it the Roof of Indochina. Very few people climbed to the top of Fansipan at the time.
